Chordinate Singers was founded in 2019 by Mr Acid Pang, with the mission to promote choral singing with the use of Chinese pop music. The small but passionate and developing group of singers gather weekly for practices and rehearsals. Other than weekly practices, Chordinate Singers also actively engage in activities and exploring new ways for music making.
In 2020, Chordinate Singers proudly presented its first self-produced virtual choir project-“Moonlight in the City”. Same year, Chordinate Singers participated in INTERKULTUR VIDEO AWARD, the first online choir competition dedicated for virtual choirs organized by INTERKULTUR. Chordinate Singers was the only Singapore participating choir. A collaboration between two Singapore community choirs - Chordinate Singers and Equaver - “Dedication of Love”, was subsequently awarded 3rd in the category for “Choir with Accompaniment” for the second INTERKULTUR Video Award 2020 in December 2020.
Chordinate Singers subsequently presented “The Rainbow Connection” with the VS Choir from Very Special Arts (Singapore) and Equaver at The Purple Parade 2021 online concert.
In 2021 and 2022, Chordinate Singers produced two original songs entitled “Dawn of Blessings” and “You are my Solace”. Both songs are available on all major digital platforms including its’ own YouTube channel for listening.
“合悦唱团”由冯时泽于 2019 年创立，致力于通过华语流行歌曲来推广合唱音乐。合唱团的成员尚 且不多，大家每周因为共同的兴趣爱好相聚在一起进行排练。
2020 年，在新加坡进入疫情阻断期间，合悦唱团录制并发布了首支自制虚拟合唱音乐视频《城里 的月光》。此外，合悦唱团参加了 INTERKULTUR 国际文化交流基金会举办的第一和第二届的在线虚拟合 唱比赛。合悦唱团是第一届里唯一参与的新加坡合唱团，而与新加坡的“热带八分音”共同合作完成音乐视 频《爱的奉献》也在第二届视频合唱大赛中荣获“有伴奏合唱”组别三等奖。
2021 年，合悦唱团再次与热带八分音参与了紫色行动的线上表演。
合悦唱团也在 2021 年和 2022 年个别录制了两首原创歌曲-《福临门》和《还好有你》。两首原
创歌曲都已上架在各流行音乐平台以及合悦唱团的 Youtube 频道，让大众载听。
Acid Pang
Conductor
Acid Pang is a local choir conductor, vocal coach and music producer. Graduated with a B.Mech Eng from Nanyang Technological University, Acid holds a Diploma in Music Production from Altron Education Group, a Masters Certificate in Arranging and Orchestration from Berklee Online (US) and a Singing Grade 8 from Trinity Guildhall (UK).
Acid was an in-house music producer and vocal instructor with Ocean Butterflies Music and Music Forest, and had since produced several albums, composed songs and being vocal coach to renowned local artistes. He is also a vocal coach and backing vocalist to ensembles and individuals for performances, competitions and recording albums.
Apart from pop music, Acid had developed further interests in choral music and since learnt music conducting under the tutorship of A/P Ho Hwee Leong, Ng Eng Kee, Yeh Tsung, Apo Hsu and László Nemes. He had also learned harmony writing from Leong Yoon Pin and vocal singing from Khor Ai Ming.
In 2019, Acid founded “Chordinate Singers” to promote choral singing with the use of Chinese pop music.
冯时泽 - 现任各本地学府与社区合唱团指挥 、歌唱指导以及音乐制作人。他毕业于南洋理工大学机械 工程系并拥有 Altron Music Education 专业录音文凭、伯克利音乐学院的音乐编曲深造证书以及伦 敦圣三一音乐学院歌唱文凭。
冯时泽曾在海蝶音乐和音乐森林任职音乐制作人和歌唱老师，参与唱片录音配唱制作，创作和教学。 他也是歌唱小组、独唱、比赛以及录音歌手的导师兼和音老师。
冯时泽至 1998 年参与星市音乐会和星市青年合唱团以来，就一直积极地参与合唱活动。本着对合唱 指挥和编曲的热爱，冯时泽曾先后向何惠农、黄荣基、叶聪、许瀞心、László Nemes 等诸位老师学 习。他也曾向已故梁荣平学习和声编写以及许爱敏学习声乐。
为致力于通过华语流行歌曲来推广合唱音乐，冯时泽于 2019 年创立了合悦合唱团。
Chew Seoh Yan
Accompanist
Singapore born Chew Seoh Yan had Trinity performance and teaching diploma in piano.
A full-time piano instructor, Seoh Yan is also an active accompanist for solos, choirs and examinations. Currently the resident accompanist for a few local choirs, she had performed with the choirs locally and overseas to Beijing, Hong Kong, Macau.
周小燕小姐， 出生于新加坡，考获英国海外三一音乐学 院 演奏与教学文凭。
现为全职钢琴教师。除教学外，也积极参与各项音乐活动;经常在音乐会和音乐考试， 为声乐与乐器伴奏。她目前是好几个合唱团的钢琴伴奏。曾经跟随合唱团到北京，香
港，澳门参于 演出。
